Stage 1

S1 Chip Tuning applications are made for performance according to user request.

WHY IS ECU REMAPPING / CHIPTUNING APPLIED?

In modern injection vehicles, the engine is managed by a part called the ECU (Engine Control Unit). The ECU manages the vehicle's air/fuel mixture amount, advance, turbo pressure, fuel injection pressure and many parameters based on the data it receives from its sensors. Many settings such as how much gasoline will be sent at which temperature, when to ignite, etc. are saved in the ECU by car manufacturers.

When a manufacturer develops a new car, it has to take into account all the conditions that may apply to any country in which it intends to sell it. This means that instead of logically optimizing the ECU software or mapping for the best performance or the most fuel efficiency, the manufacturer must then compromise their ECU software to account for these possible different operating conditions and tax requirements on emissions that change at the moment. The manufacturer has to restrict the ECU software to take into account non-standard fuels, extreme temperatures and altitudes, and even the possibility of the vehicle not being serviced regularly and according to the manufacturer's recommended instructions.

Manufacturers design their vehicles to offer them to the whole world market, and as a result, many factors cause the vehicles to be launched under their capacity (such as exhaust emission standards, temperature and climate differences, taxation policies and sales policies).

Just as taxation in our country is based on engine volume, in many European countries taxation is made on the basis of horsepower regardless of volume (such as Belgium, France, Italy); This causes the vehicles to be offered for sale at powers below their capacities, so that they do not fall into high tax brackets.

For these reasons, the ECU software needs to be reprogrammed according to the climate conditions, fuel standards and driver potential of the country in which each vehicle is used.

Chip Tuning is the process of reprogramming this reprogramming according to performance and/or fuel economy in line with the customer's request.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF ECU REMAPPING / CHIPTUNING?
ECU programming will not only improve engine power and torque figures, but will also sharpen throttle response and increase the impact of the powerband. This will make the power delivery much more linear, which will make the car feel more lively to drive and the engine more flexible. Often times, the power of the vehicle is limited by the manufacturer so that it can appeal to a standard customer. As a driving enthusiast, you don't need or want such restrictions in your vehicle's ECU, so with a process of chiptuning and map remapping you can unlock the hidden power and torque locked within the ECU software.

Although it changes from vehicle to vehicle with the Chiptuning application; Performance increase of up to 35% and fuel savings rates of up to 25% are observed.

WHAT ARE THE STAGES OF CHIPTUNING APPLICATION?
Stage 1 Chip Tuning
REBUILDING ECU MAPS
Stage 1 is a special program in which parameters such as injection and ignition are changed to the software in the ECU of your vehicle. All parameters are specially prepared for your vehicle and your driving wishes, and at this stage, all settings are at a safe level in accordance with the manufacturer's standards.

The Stage 1 operation performed is invisible. Since no mechanical parts are changed when the software is made, your vehicle will not be out of warranty. It is also invisible to diagnostic devices. Since the brain program of the vehicle is changed without any physical changes in your vehicle, it is generally not noticeable visually and electronically. For this reason, chiptuning cannot be seen while the vehicle's fault records are deleted or in similar situations.

However, the application can be converted to the original at any time and there is no retrospective record of this situation.

Most brands know that a properly made software is not harmful to the vehicle. In addition, many authorized services sell applications of different brands.

Stage 2 Chip Tuning
DEVELOPMENT OF ENGINE AIR INLET AND EXHAUST SYSTEM
For those who want more than Stage 1, Stage 2 chip tuning is applied by improving the parts that will affect the performance of the engine. The parts that are improved at this stage are the air filter and the exhaust. Many air filter systems are restricted to reduce engine intake noise. This system is replaced with an in-box sports filter or a special intake system, helping more air enter the engine and a nice power increase is achieved. The same is true for the exhaust system. The parts recommended at each stage must be replaced.

Stage 3 Chip Tuning
SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT WITH NEW ENGINE PARTS
In Stage 3 application, it is necessary to change the parts inside and around the engine with a little more mechanical processing. That's bigger turbo, sports camshafts, bigger injectors etc. such as the replacement of parts. At this stage, the current condition of the vehicle is evaluated, and it is ensured that you obtain the maximum healthy performance that can be obtained from your engine.
